For Adult Inpatient, Adult ED, and Ambulatory Surgery we will use:
- Nursing staff sensitive to my needs as a patient.

- I was taught about the pain scale and how my pain would be managed.
- Clinical staff identified who they were when they cared for me.
- Clinical staff showed concern and sensitivity to my needs.
- Clinical staff helped me understand my health condition.

For Pediatric Inpatient:
- Nurses’ special/personal needs attention.
- Nurses inform using clear language.
- How well child’s pain controlled.
- Staff worked together.
- Nurses attentive to you/child.
- Nurses informative re treatments.
- Nurses took time to listen.
- How well pain was controlled.
